Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for many years. Elson, who began the acting profession as a a young actor/model and later as a professional actress, is probably best known for the role of Alice Tyler as seen on the CBS science-fiction drama. Andrea got the part of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986), after auditioning. Andrea continued working for many years on various successful TV shows and Movies of the Week before taking a break from the entertainment industry in order to spend time with her children. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenager daughter of Kate and Willie - at a time in which she went through a turbulent period. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was a challenge. Born on the 6th of March 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actress grew up traveling as a result of her father's position as an advertising executive. When she was ten years old the actress had been living within New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. Her role for which she auditioned was selected. Fusco supported the idea by saying, "ALF can drink beer because he is older than 285." NBC cautioned Fusco to stop ALF from drinking alcohol in front of children as it would be an unsuitable model. Fusco thought ALF could be a drinker even as an adult. The first time he was diagnosed with lymphoma was in 1995. The treatment was successful and was in complete remission throughout 2019. It was in Englewood New York at the Lillian Booth Actors Home on the 26th June, 2019, the 75-year-old actor was diagnosed with cancer and passed away.
