
Kelly Ripa is a television producer and actress who was born on the 2nd of October 70 years ago. Ripa is most well-known for her roles in the ABC soap drama All My Children and the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. She is also the co-host of "Live with Kelly and Ryan", a morning talk show, since 2001. Ripa along with her husband Mark Consuelos own a production company based in New York called Milojo. Kelly Maria Ripa is the daughter Esther Ripa of Joseph Ripa who was a bus driver union president. Her birthplace was and raised Berlin, New Jersey. Her father, who has served as Democratic County Clerk in Camden County since 2009, was born and raised in Camden County. Also, she is the very first of her parents to go into the acting business. When she began ballet, she was age three and can also play the piano. When she graduated at Eastern Regional High School in New Jersey, Ripa was one of the cheerleaders during her time in high school. In high school, her drama instructor encouraged her to take up acting. In her senior year, she was spotted while performing on stage in "The Ugly Duckling" at a local theatre production. After that, she enrolled at Camden County College in order to major in psychology. She eventually was forced to leave to go to New York City.
